I have not been posting much this past couple of weeks; I have been staying very busy here working on custom sewing orders, many that have to be shipped to reach their destinations by Christmas. I have managed to do a little Christmas decorating, although have yet to put up my tree. And the weather has been so cold here (ok cold for a southern girl), that it has made me quite happy to be indoors sewing and sipping warm apple cider!
Here’s one simple and inexpensive idea for Christmas decorating that I tried several years ago. I happened to be shopping in Target and came across some really pretty Christmas gift bags. I thought they were so pretty, with all their sparkle, that rather than use them to hold gifts I chose to frame one of them instead. A 50% discounted black frame from Michaels was all I needed to have the perfect Christmas themed picture for my mantle. So quick and easy!
That’s a really cool idea! Would have never guessed it came from a shopping bag… I can only imagine how busy you are with the holidays right now.
Yes, very busy, so that’s it has been difficult to keep up with blogging! Hope you are doing well during this busy holiday season.
That looks really pretty! It’s a great idea for decoration.
