While I’m normally not one for a self-portrait, I captured this photo of Tyler and myself on my i-Phone while relaxing in bed on Sunday morning. Application of a dry brush filter in Photoshop, some selective cropping, and this was the final result. The block of white was the sunlight streaming through the skylight and onto my t-shirt. I do love the artistic effect. And oh how I do LOVE my Mr. Tyler!

Yes it was really just a quick filter application in Photoshop and crop, and I was done! And I too think Tyler is one beautiful tabby kitty!

Try it! If you don’t like the results just “delete” and try again, even at a later time. Tyler was being such a snuggle bunny that I just captured the opportunity for this photograph.
I don’t really take selfies either but I like how yours turned out. Both of you look very content.
We are SO content. And that is what I really liked about this photo the most…it captures the essence of the interactions we have, when Tyler is most content and is typically kneading away into my arm!

I love ‘arty’ things too! I think I’ve always been involved in some type of artistic adventure. As a child you could always find me with a pencil in hand, drawing something!
