Lucy & Jo Ann
I have been sewing a LOT lately, of course with the help of my friends Lucy and Jo Ann!
(Love the art style of this photo…check out my “how to” in Monday’s post!)
This post is part of a Wednesday blog hop. Please click the “Blog Paws” button in the sidebar to follow all the other wonderful pet blogs. Happy Blogging!
This looks more like a drawing than the others. Mom can’t believe it all started with a photo. Really nice for those who can’t even draw a stick figure. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Some do look like drawings more than others. Just have to test on different photos to see the results. And yes nice for both those who can’t draw, and even those who can! I can draw and have done watercolors in the past, and have often worked from photos for my artwork. This photo technique would be helpful for artists who work from photographs because it more clearly defines the different values/tones in the picture.
Do you go to the Jo Ann’s by IKEA? It’s the closest craft store to my house so that’s usually where we head to when we need some crafty stuff. But I like Michael’s too.
No, I go to the one near my part-time job that’s at 183 and Mo-Pac. There is a Michael’s near there also, but I shop at Jo Ann’s and Hancock for some of my sewing supplies, although most items are ordered online.
I love that photo! It’s prices, with just the tail out of the bag. Thanks for sharing š
You are most welcome, and thanks for stopping by! Never met a cat that could resist a box or paper bag.
I do love what you did to that photo! Gonna check out how you did it!
Wags to all,
Your pal Snoopy š
